Terms and Conditions

1. Rental Period

The rental period will start on the date and time selected by the client during the booking process and will end upon the expiration of the chosen rental duration.

2. Payments

2.1 Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following methods of payment for boat rentals:

• PayPal

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)

• Klarna (installment options if available)

The agreed rental fee for the period is €350.00, and full payment must be made at the time of booking. This amount is considered a confirmatory deposit pursuant to Article 1385, paragraph 2, of the Italian Civil Code.

If the renter fails to collect the vessel on the scheduled date, the contract will be automatically terminated and the owner will retain the deposit as a penalty, without prejudice to any further damages suffered (Art. 1385, paragraph 2, Civil Code).
The deposit will be refunded only if cancellation is made at least 5 days in advance.
In case of bad weather, a voucher will be issued, valid until the end of the current year, subject to availability.

3. Obligations of the Renter / Skipper

The renter and/or skipper agrees to use the vessel responsibly and as a “good family man,” in accordance with its technical specifications, which will be explained by the owner at the time of handover. This includes:

a) Safe entry and exit from ports
b) Respecting the maximum number of passengers onboard: 6
c) Complying with Italian laws and, when in Swiss waters, the laws of the Swiss Confederation, as well as port authority regulations and the internal rules of Lake Maggiore, which the renter declares to know
d) Securing the vessel when moored and never leaving it unattended
e) Regularly checking the weather forecast for the area of navigation, even multiple times a day if necessary

4. Return of the Vessel

The parties agree that the vessel must be returned to Cantiere Nautico ANGERA YACHTING at the date and time established during booking, no later than the specified return time.

A penalty of €80 will be charged for each hour of delay in returning the vessel.
The owner reserves the right to claim further damages if the delay affects the next rental.

5. Additional Costs and Liabilities

The renter is responsible for:

• Port, anchorage, and mooring fees

• Any administrative penalties incurred during the rental

• All damages or losses resulting from breach of contract

• Indemnifying the owner against claims by third parties for any event occurring during the rental

6. Legal Jurisdiction

Any disputes regarding the interpretation or execution of this contract shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Busto Arsizio (VA), Italy.

7. Privacy

The renter authorizes the owner to share their personal data with third parties as necessary to comply with legal and contractual obligations (Law no. 675/1996).

8. Final Provisions

Anything not expressly covered in this agreement shall be subject to the provisions of the Italian Civil Code, the Navigation Code, and applicable local regulations and customs.

9. Equipment on Board

• • 4 fenders are on board; if lost, they will be charged to the renter.

  • 2 mooring lines are on board; any loss will be charged.
